On May 16, 2024, the South Korean media outlet Daily Sports reported that Jo Bo-ah was reportedly in talks to play Kim Soo-hyun's first love and customs officer in the upcoming black comedy drama Knock Off.

Jo Bo-ah, Kim Soo-hyun, and Kim Si-eun will lead the upcoming drama Knock Off as the leading protagonist of the series.
