JTBC releases official still cuts for Family By Choice and shares broadcast plans

Family by Choice wrapped up filming on July 14 and started getting ready to see audiences, as reported by Naver. Family by Choice is set to broadcast on August 7. The show will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays and consist of 16 episodes in total. JTBC also had a pleasant surprise for fans as it released a few stills from the drama.

JTBC's new drama Family by Choice is a romantic tale about three young people who were a family for ten years and have been apart for ten years meeting again. The narrative is an adaptation of the Chinese drama Go Ahead from 2020. Kim Seung Ho, who is also well-known for Joseon Attorney: A Morality and Twenty-five, Twenty-One, is the project's director.

Family by Choice: Cast and Plot

The drama which will be released on August 7 tells the story of three unconnected persons who grew up together as teenagers. Despite the wounds inflicted by their parents, they rely on one another. This piece of writing narrates the tale of friendship, romantic love, and family affection among people who have been reunited after a ten-year break.

Hwang In-yeop will portray Kim San-ha. Bae Hyun-seong will portray Kang Hae-joon, a cheery child who loves basketball, and Jung Chae-yeon will play Yoon Joo-won, the family's Hong Il-jeom, displaying energizing chemistry.

Choi Moo-sung portrays Kim San-ha's father Kim Dae-wook, while Choi Won-young plays Yoon Jeong-jae, Yoon Joo-won's father. They come together as a community to raise children together and flaunt their flawless chemistry, evoking a married pair who have been together for ten years.

On May 14, JTBC revealed the star-studded cast roster for its forthcoming drama giving viewers an intriguing sneak peek. Hwang In-yeop, Jung Chae-yeon, and Bae Hyun-sung steal the show in one endearing still as they run together in their school uniforms in the pouring rain, showcasing their tight bond.

Another series still has Choi Won-young holding a baking tray and smiling contagiously. In the meantime, Choi Moo-sung, looking strong and authoritative in his police suit, promises an engaging performance that deepens the plot.
