Love Next Door stars Jung Hae-in and Jung So-min are set to hold a Live session on Melon on Thursday, September 5, at 7 pm KST, revealing character diaries and more. The exclusive live session on Melon, titled ‘Melon X Love Next Door,’ will follow the concept of the rom-com series where the actors would sit in virtually decorated places radiating the show's energy.
Jung Hae-in plays the character of Choi Seung-hyo, while Jung So-min depicts the role of Bae Seok-ryu. Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu spend most of their lives together and eventually become best friends, as their mothers have been friends since high school.
In the upcoming Melon live session, the actors will reveal the character diaries of Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu while sharing their concerns. Moreover, this live session will unveil the music video of the OST sung by the K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE, which captures some of the highlights of the tvN drama. Anticipation for the OST is at an all-time high as the group's fans, as well as the viewers of the show, await its release.

On August 31, tvN dropped episode 5 of Love Next Door, which marked an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.8 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. With this, the show topped the list of dramas airing in the same time slot across all the channels.
On September 1, the romance drama marked a personal achievement with an average nationwide viewership rating of 6.8 percent, receiving its highest ratings among other episodes. It also remained number one among all the shows airing in the same time slot.
Love Next Door airs every Saturday and Sunday on the South Korean channel tvN and the OTT platform Netflix.
