BH Entertainment announced on January 17 that it signed an exclusive contract with Jung Ho-yeon, as reported by Newsen that same day. The actress, who began her career in 2010 at Seoul Fashion Week, has established a solid position as a model by participating in various fashion shows and global brand advertising campaigns both domestically and internationally.
Meanwhile, BH Entertainment is a South Korean talent agency established in 2006 by actor Lee Byung-hun and his long-time manager, Son Seok-woo. Since 2018, the company has operated as a subsidiary under Kakao Entertainment. On January 17, the agency said,
"We are happy to work with actress Jung Ho-yeon. Actress Jung Ho-yeon is an actress with limitless potential who will show us more in the future."
The agency represents numerous renowned actors in the South Korean entertainment industry, including Lee Byung-hun, Han Hyo-joo, Go Soo, Han Ga-in, Han Ji-min, Park Hae-soo, Lee Ji-ah, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Jin-wook, and Park Bo-young, among others.

The model made her acting debut in the Netflix original series Squid Game season 1 as Kang Sae-byeok, receiving much love worldwide and leading to the "Jung Ho-yeon Syndrome," as per Newsen.
She subsequently became the first Korean actor to win the Best Actress Award at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) and was nominated in the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category at the 74th Emmy Awards.
Meanwhile, BH Entertainment promises to help Jung grow into an actress "who is loved worldwide through a systematic and meticulous management system that encompasses both" Korea and abroad.
Jung Ho-yeon, continuing her global activities, recently finished filming director Na Hong-jin's new film Hope and appears in the 2024 Apple TV+ drama Disclaimer, as Cate Blanchett's character Catherine's assistant, Jisoo.

The actors ended their relationship after nine years together, as reported by The Korea Times on November 26, 2024. Both Lee’s agency, Company On, and Jung’s agency at the time, Saram Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating that the two have decided to return to being good colleagues.
The couple, who publicly announced their relationship in 2016, concluded their long-term romance. Regardless, throughout their relationship, the two shared a close connection.
Even after she gained international fame for her portrayal of Kang Sae-byeok, a North Korean defector, in Netflix’s hit series Squid Game, Jung frequently expressed her affection for Lee at public events.
Lee also spoke fondly of Jung during an episode of the ENA variety show Kwak Taxitrip Season 2 in August 2024. While riding in a taxi in the US, he said to the driver,
