The much-awaited docuseries, I AM STILL, featuring BTS’ Jungkook, debuted on Disney+ Hotstar on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 5 pm KST. The show, comprising three parts, offered a more personal look at his journey in creating his inaugural solo album, GOLDEN. Compared to its theatrical release, the newly presented three-episode miniseries contains roughly 55 minutes of additional video clips.

The docuseries covers the production of BTS' Jungkook's first independent album GOLDEN. As seen in the series, BIGHIT Music’s record producer Pdogg also talked about the 3D singer and emphasized the power of his voice.

Pdogg called him a ‘GENIUS’ and lauded his skill of quickly catching the song's essence. The record producer even went so far as to label the K-pop star the "embodiment of pop music."

“Fundamentally I believe that he's a GENIUS because this all started with his voice. the power of his voice. that's how we got started so I believe he is a GENIUS and he's so quick when it comes to catching the essence of a song, he's so good at pulling it off in his own style. The way I see it, Jungkook is the embodiment of pop music”

BIGHIT Music’s choreographer Son Sungdeuk also referred to BTS’ Jungkook as ‘genius’

In addition to Pdogg, BIGHIT Music's choreographer commented on the BTS member, describing him as a "genius." He emphasized the hardworking spirit of the BTS member by disclosing that he stayed till the last during rehearsals for stage concerts and solo performances.

“For every concert, Jungkook was always the last to leave rehearsals, practicing his solo performances. He’d practice his vocals even more for group songs. He’s the scariest person in the world because he’s a genius that puts in the work.”

In the process of producing his debut album, Jungkook shared reflections on his self-discovery. He revealed that he had not initially honed any certain dance form, nor did he possess a distinctive dance style. the idol continued by saying that he discovered he could learn a lot without even noticing after he began with choreography.

“Since I hadn't learned one specific genre of dance, I started with choreography. And after just doing choreo for a while, I felt like I was neither getting better nor worse. I didn't have my own style. I felt like I didn't have my own unique dancing style in the past. I tend to learn a lot of things without realizing it.” Jungkook stated.

The docuseries includes unseen behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and the complete recording of his GOLDEN live stage performance.

BTS’ singer's GOLDEN was dropped on November 3, 2023. The album featured eleven tracks Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer), Hate You, Seven(feat. Latto) Explicit Version, Yes or No, 3D (feat.
