On November 1, 2024, JYP Entertainment's new boy group NEXZ dropped the bored version short film for their forthcoming NALLINA comeback through the official X account. The clip kick-started showcasing a clock, accompanied by a female voice who said the following words:
"When you try to be productive at the most boring time."
Subsequently, the trailer presented members trying out different activities, including watching TikTok videos, clicking selfies, dancing, and looking up on Google how to stop getting bored. Some members also tried to get rid of the monotony of life by talking or using a laptop.
However, the attention of all the members of NEXZ got diverted when beats of music started playing in the background. Later, the screen presents the comeback date of the group featuring their album name.
NEXZ released the tracklist for their upcoming album NALLINA
The seven-member boy group NEXZ released the tracklist for their first mini-album, NALLINA, through their official X account on October 30, 2024. The tracklist has been provided below:

The physical album would be available in four versions, including Bored, Nalli, Platform, and Limited. Moreover, the band has previously released individual and group teaser images for their upcoming comeback. In the promotional content, the members carried intense looks and different outfits to highlight the concept of the album. They also released a prologue video for the record on October 28, 2024.
For those unversed, NEXZ was formed through the survival program Nizi Project 2. They were a joint venture between JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Labels. The band made their official debut on May 20, 2024, with the single album Ride the Vibe. The record featured two tracks, including Ride the Vibe and Starlight.
The band features seven members, including Yu, Tomoya, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki. Subsequently, they dropped the Japanese extended play Ride the Vibe (Japanese Version), also called Keep on Moving, on August 21, 2024. Additionally, the Ride the Vibe (Japanese Version) was pre-released on July 5, 2024.
The group was featured in their first television commercial for American-owned Japanese sports drink brand Aquarius. The advertisement featured their first original Japanese track, Keep on Moving, which was penned and produced by J.Y.P. They have also graced the August 2024 issue of NYLON Japan, the September 2024 issue of Spur, and others.
Additionally, the group's name referred to a blend of words, including 'next generation' and 'generation Z.' They aimed to carry a message that conveyed to open a future for a new generation.
NEXZ would be featured in the October 2024 issue of 25ans and the November issue of Dazed Korea. They would release their mini-album NALLINA on November 18, 2024, at 6 pm Korean Standard Time.
