More about Good Partner, I Live Alone, and Music Bank

Good Partner, I Live Alone, and Music Bank will have to be halted for a while due to the ongoing Paris Olympics. The channels will broadcast the Olympics during the afternoon to support the athletes.

The current South Korean television show Good Partner, starring Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, Pyo Ji-hoon, Ji Seung-hyun, and Han Jae-yi, was written by Choi Yu-na and co-directed by Kim Ga-ram and Ahn Ji-sook. Eun Kyung Cha, the protagonist, is a star lawyer at a big firm. However, when rookie Han Yoo-ri comes in with her righteous beliefs, their ideals start clashing.

Every Friday at 11 pm KST, MBC distributes the South Korean entertainment show I Live Alone, commonly referred to as Home Alone. The purpose of this program is to preserve the everyday lives of celebrities and create a sense of unique empathy among South Korean singles by showcasing their lives without extensive editing.

South Korean music show Music Bank airs on KBS2 every Friday at 5:15 pm KST. Actor Moon Sang-min and Hong Eun-chae from Le Sserafim have been hosting it since May 31, 2024.

North Korean and South Korean athletes come together for a selfie at the Paris Olympics

One of the most memorable events from the 2024 Summer Paris Olympics was the joint selfie by North and South Korean competitors. South Korea took home the bronze, and North Korea the silver in the mixed doubles. Lim Jong-hoon of South Korea commemorated the event by pulling out a phone to take a photo.

People worldwide are raving about pictures of North and South Korean table tennis players taking selfies on the gold podium during the Paris Olympics. Some have hailed the moment as an example of unusual cross-border peace. The North and South have united to form teams for international sports events before.

During the PyeongChang Olympics 2018, both nations marched together during the opening ceremony and participated as a single squad in the women's ice hockey tournament. However, despite promises of a cohesive squad for the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020, negotiations broke down, and sports relations froze again.
