KBS drama Perfect Family cast members have reportedly not received their appearance fees. According to an exclusive report released on July 17 by Star News, a South Korean publication, the lead, and the supporting cast members have allegedly not received their payment for this project.
As per the report, the cast members have spent the second half of 2023 and the first half of 2024, filming Perfect Family. The cast includes popular actors like Kim Young-dae, Park Ju-hyun, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Byung-chul, Kim Do-hyun, Choi Ye-bin, Yoon Sang-hyun, Lee Si-woo, and many more.
However, the same day, an official from the network KBS debunked the reports through a statement to OSEN publication. They said (as translated by Google Translate from Korean):
“All actors who participated in the drama have been paid their appearance fees.”
Furthermore, they added that they were in preparation for revising the contract with an actor who will appear in the drama. However, this will not affect the payment process. They stated (as translated by Google Translate):
“The revised contract has been negotiated and cannot be considered unpaid because it is paid after the stamp is applied.”
