Kim Hye-yoon unleashed her inner Im Sol, Ryu Sun-jae's fangirl at the Lovely Runner pop-up store. On June 7, Artist Company, her management agency, dropped a video of the actress visiting the exciting pop-up store on YouTube, showcasing some of the props used in the drama.
Kim Hye-yoon depicted the character of Im Sol, a passionate fangirl of top star Ryu Sun-jae, a member of the band Eclipse (played by Byeon Woo-seok).
She was seen clicking pictures with the standee of Ryu Sun-jae in his idol outfit. She was also seen wearing the infamous headband which said, “Pick up Sun-jae and run”.
Kim Hye-yoon tried taking the lightstick of the Eclipse but burst into laughter as she found out the lightstick was stuck to the shelf. The actress requested fans not to touch it when they visited the store.

She stood in front of a shelf where several customized merchandise of Eclipse was stored. At first, she clicked a picture with the cup that displayed Baek In-hyuk's image (played by N.flying's Lee Seung-hyub).
As she realized it was not Ryu Sun-jae, she moved ahead to click a picture with the cup showing Ryu Sun-jae’s photo.

The rom-com drama Lovely Runner drama ran a successful pop-up store from Thursday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at The Hyundai Seoul department store, B2F Iconic Pop-up Zone in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. According to reports, the entry was limited to 1500 visitors and people stood in the queue from 5 am KST to get in the store.
The store offered some iconic merchandise for fans which played a pivotal role in the development of the storyline. It included official drama poster sets, photo cards, postcards, stamp sticker sets, metal badges of Ryu Sun-jae and Im Sol, and many more.
Kim Hye-yoon went around the place showing all the props used by her character Im Sol, she saw the Cheongsangari T-shirt and stated that she heard a rumor that the T-shirt was sold out.
However, the staff members at the store told her that they would be giving her the T-shirt along with other merchandise, she expressed her excitement and later thanked the team by doing her iconic hand pose as she bowed.
The Sky Castle actress also signed a standee which showed the image of Im Sol holding a standing of Ryu Sun-jae. She left her autograph as proof of her visit to the pop-up store.
Kim Hye-yoon's appearance on Whenever Possible
Following the conclusion of the drama Lovely Runner, Kim Hye-yoon recently made an appearance on the SBS variety show Whenever Possible. The show is hosted by popular South Korean comedian Yoo Jae-suk and actor Yoo Yeon-seok known for his dramas like Dr. Romantic, Hospital Playlist, Mr. Sunshine, and more.
The Snowdrop actress had a meal with the hosts, clicked pictures at the photo booth, and played some fun games on the show. She revealed that following the filming of Lovely Runner in April 2024, she took a break and stayed home as the filming period was long. The Whenever Possible episode featuring Kim Hye-yoon was aired on June 4, 10:20 pm KST on the SBS channel.
