Kim Jae-joong, Jin Se-yeon, Lee Jong-won, and Yang Hye-ji will be seen in the upcoming K-drama Bad Memory Eraser, which is scheduled to release on August 2 at 9:40 p.m. KST on MBN. The rom-com drama is the first one Kim Jae-joong has taken up after seven years, with his last K-drama being Manhole, which was released in 2017.

Penned by Jung Eun-young and directed by Yoon Ji-hoon and Kim Na-young, the romantic comedy-drama is about a man whose life is changed by a memory eraser and a woman who is his first love. Fans can stream the drama on Rakuten Viki.


Bad Memory Eraser: Cast and Plot

Kim Jae-joong, formerly of TVXQ, will play the lead character of Lee Goon. He is a talented tennis player who had a terrible accident and lost his self-esteem. However, a memory-eraser helps him regain his confidence. This will be Jae-joong's first drama after Manhole.

In the drama, Jin Se-yeon plays Lee Goon's made-up first love, Kyung Ju-yeon, who is a psychiatrist at a brain research facility. She is a perfectionist and, due to a traumatic past event, can come off as a cold person. Se-yeon was seen in dramas such as Bridal Mask, Doctor Stranger, Flowers of the Prison, and Grand Prince.

Lee Shin, the beloved younger brother of Lee Goon and a talented tennis player, will be portrayed by Lee Jong Won, who has appeared in shows like My Unfamiliar Family, XX, and The Spies Who Loved Me before.

Yang Hye Ji will portray Jeon Sae Yan. She serves as tennis player Lee Shin's interpreter. Hye-ji is known for her roles in dramas like Live On, When the Weather Is Fine, Nevertheless, and The Rich Son.


Kim Jae-joong releases Glorious Day music video teaser

The eagerly awaited music album by Kim Jae-joong, which is his fourth long-term solo project, will be released on June 26 at 6 p.m. KST. Flower Garden is a collection of 14 tracks that showcase unique events and narratives from his remarkable career.

The music video teaser for Glorious Day, the album's lead single, was recently released, thrilling fans. The pre-release single I AM U and numerous other brand-new tracks are also included on the album.

After the release, he is scheduled to commence his 2024 Asia tour, also known as Flower Garden. The trip will begin with a two-day performance in Seoul on July 20–21.

Jae-joong, famous as a member of JYJ and TVXQ, has released three Korean studio albums as a solo artist: Born Gene, No. X, and WWW. The first two albums peaked at number one on the Gaon Music Chart. His Japanese albums Flawless Love and Love Covers I & II also peaked at number one on the Oricon Albums Chart.
