"King!”- Fans react as BTS' Taehyung remains the #1 most-followed K-solo act in Spotify history

On September 28, 2024, the X account @TOP100KPOP shared that BTS' Taehyung was the top soloist in the top 100 most-followed K-pop artists on Spotify. On the list, the idol ranked #4 overall, making him the most-followed K-pop soloist on the platform. The top three spots were occupied by groups: BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE.

At the time of the announcement, the Singularity singer boasts 18.7 million Spotify followers, along with 5.7 million monthly listeners, despite being on a break from his musical activities while serving in the military since December 2023.

Fans flooded social media to celebrate the BTS member's impressive milestone, sharing congratulatory messages and expressing their pride in the idol. A user on X, @mytaetae_m wrote,
