On December 4, British publication NME reported that BTS' Jungkook’s first documentary I AM STILL earned $18.5 million across the world. With these whopping figures, I AM STILL became the highest-grossing music cinema event of 2024.

Jungkook’s movie also created history as it became the highest-grossing movie by an Asian soloist. Reportedly, 1.3 million people have watched the documentary globally.

Following the news, BTS’ Jungkook’s fans were delighted with the singer’s latest accomplishments. As a result, his fans swamped the internet with their praises and love for the Seven vocalist. Echoing this sentiment, one user on X commented:

The Standing Next to You maker globally released his first documentary I AM STILL on September 18, 2024. The movie was initially released with limited screenings worldwide, but later more screens were added amid rising demand from Jungkook’s international fans.

This documentary showcased the BTS member's journey to making his first solo album, GOLDEN. The movie showed many unseen behind-the-scenes, unreleased interviews, along with videos of his concert performances.
