BTS' Jin’s solo album KSJ1 is set to debut during the fourth quarter of this year
On Thursday, June 20, after BTS' Jimin unveiled the tracklist for his highly anticipated second album, MUSE, Jin subtly suggested the release of his solo album.
On Weverse, a member of the BTS fandom, known as ARMY, shared a post discussing the songs featured on the MUSE album. BTS' Jin responded to the message, indicating that he would release his album thereafter.
Fans promptly interpreted it as an insinuation from the idol that he would be the subsequent member of the boy band to unveil his solo album. Most recently, BTS' Jin commented on his upcoming activities and solo songs during his cover story for Harper’s BAZAAR’s September 2024 edition. He said:
"Without giving away any spoilers... I think it'll be fun to perform. It's different for each song, so l can't say for sure, but if I were to compare it to the flavor of ice cream, there's soda, popping candy, and dark chocolate. I hope you look forward to it."
Following the completion of his mandatory military service in June this year, BTS' Jin has been actively participating in multiple activities, including the Olympic Torchbearing ceremony for 2024 Paris, his reality show Run Jin, and featuring in the variety show Half-Star Hotel In Lost Island. Additionally, the Epiphany vocalist was also appointed as Gucci's global ambassador on August 7.
