On August 18, 2024, Stray Kids member Changbin faced online scrutiny over his body. According to Koreaboo, some individuals allegedly shared recent airport pictures of the K-pop idol and body-shamed him for being "fat." In response, Stray Kids fans, STAYs, quickly came to his defense, criticizing the insensitive comments from K-netizens.

Several STAYs also shared the original pictures of Changbin, stating that the initially shared picture by X user, @aksiball, was photoshopped. One fan wrote on X:
"Knetz are bullies I swear to god, it's giving the glory"
For the unversed, The Glory is a popular revenge K-drama starring Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun that focuses on high school bullying. Meanwhile, STAYs commented in support of Changbin and condemned netizens for their unrealistic body standards.
"Korean people in the qrt so disgusting,you all lives just for other's people standard. You can't be happy for other people you can't respect other people...," one fan wrote.
"JYP the only company that does not let his artist get starved. And here you are guys bodyshaming them," another fan wrote.
"This is why bullying cases are high in Korea, yall don't pass a day without talking about other people looks and body!!! Leave changbin alone...," one other fan commented.
Others left sarcastic comments under the post of @aksiball and expressed their disappointment for allegedly bullying a K-pop idol for his looks.
"When you are in the bullies olympic games and your opponents are koreans," one fan remarked.
"He is so beautiful. He looks like a real man, not like a dried out anemic..," another fan said.
"Breaking news: knetz discover a body part named stomach," one other fan wrote.
