On October 17, 2024, KT Studio Genie officially announced the lead cast for the upcoming drama Your Taste. Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si have been confirmed for the two leading roles in this romantic comedy, which is set to air next year and has already begun filming.

On the morning of October 17, KT Studio Genie shared the update across their social media platforms. They officially announced the lead cast for the upcoming drama Your Taste along with the cast of Kim Shin-rok, Yoo Soo-bin in supporting roles. The post included the caption:

"Your Taste Kang Ha-neul, Go Min-si, Kim Shin-rok, Yoo Soo-bin casting confirmed!✨Tiki-taka kitchen romance between 'Han Beom-woo', a successor of a large food company who is indifferent to 'taste', and 'Mo Yeon-joo', a chef at a local one-table restaurant who is crazy about 'taste'🍽💕"

The announcement has generated significant buzz among fans, eager to see the dynamic between these characters come to life.


Exploring plot and characters of Your Taste: A romantic journey of food and flavor with Kang Ha-neul and Go Min-si

Your Taste centers around the lives of Han Beom-woo, the heir to a large food corporation, and Mo Yeon-joo, a passionate chef. The story follows these two as they manage a small restaurant together in Jeonju, despite their contrasting backgrounds and philosophies about food.

Han Beom-woo operates one of Seoul’s finest dining restaurants but has little appreciation for "taste." On the other hand, Mo Yeon-joo is dedicated to mastering flavor and runs a discreet one-table restaurant in a remote area.

As they navigate their new venture, they not only grow as individuals but also develop a romantic relationship.

Kang Ha-neul will portray Han Beom-woo, marking his first role as a chaebol heir, generating significant interest and anticipation. Go Min-si, in her recent appearance on tvN’s Seo Jin's Kitchen 2, has showcased her culinary skills.

In Your Taste, she will play the role of Mo Yeon-joo, raising excitement among viewers eager to see her as a chef on screen.

The supporting cast includes Kim Shin-rok as Jin Myeong-suk, an ace employee at a well-known noodle restaurant, and Yoo Soo-bin, who takes on the role of Shin Chun-seung, a carefree local figurehead.

Behind the scenes, the production boasts a talented team. Han Jun-hee, recognized for his work on Weak Hero Class 1 and the DP series, will serve as the general creator. The script is penned by Jung Soo-yoon, celebrated for the Boy Flying and Playlist Ending series.

Director Park Dan-hee, known for her co-directing work on Weak Hero Class 1 and Blue Birthday, has also joined the project.

Go Min-si is a talented South Korean actress and one of South Korea's most promising young stars, celebrated for her versatility across film and television. She gained attention with the web series 72 Seconds and made her mark in the 2018 film The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion.

Her prominent roles include the Netflix series Love Alarm (2019–2021) and Sweet Home (2020–2023), as well as the historical drama Youth of May (2021). She further showcased her skills in the action film Smugglers (2023).

Kang Ha-neul is a celebrated South Korean actor recognized for his versatile performances across film and television. He began his career in theater and made his television debut in 2012 with the drama To the Beautiful You. His breakthrough came in 2014 with the critically acclaimed series, Misaeng.

He gained further fame through popular dramas such as The Heirs (2013), Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), When the Camellia Blooms (2019), and Insider (2022).

As a prolific Chungmu-ro actor, Kang has also appeared in notable films including Twenty (2015), Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet (2016), Midnight Runners (2017), Forgotten (2017), The Pirates: The Last Royal Treasure (2022), and Love Reset (2023).
