On July 12, 2024, South Korean media outlet StarNews reported that actress Kwon Nara is in talks to star alongside Kim Soo-hyun in the upcoming black comedy drama Knock Off. The series will be directed by Park Hyun-suk, known for shows such as Song of the Bandits, Hometown, and Uncontrollably Fond. The script will be written by Han Jung-hoon, known for Missing 9 and Bad Guys.
Knock Off, set from the 1997 period to the 2000s, depicts the tale of a man, Kim Sung-joon, who was the victim of the IMF (International Monetary Fund) crisis and fired from his job. Subsequently, he entered into the world of fake goods market and eventually started dominating the business of duped goods in South Korea and across different countries around the world.
Kwon Nara would reportedly portray the character of Moon Yoo-bin alongside Kim Soo-hyun in Knock Off
If Kwon Nara accepts the role in the upcoming series Knock Off, she will play Moon Yoo-bin. Hired by Kim Sung-joon to manufacture and sell counterfeit branded goods, she learns the value of money in life. She starts the job with her younger brother.

Additionally, Marry My Husband famed actress Choi Gyu-ri is confirmed to play the role of Kim Soo-hyun's younger sister in the upcoming drama Knock-off. She would chronicle the character of Kim Seong-hee, a sibling of Kim Sung-joon.
According to South Korean media outlet TenAsian's report from May 17, 2024, the supporting actors, including Lee Jung-eun, Jo Woo-jin, Kim Eui-sung, Kang Mal-geum, and Kim Hye-eun would chronicle the characters of Park Aeja, Baek Jong-min, Bae Pilgoo, Jaegal Hyun-sook, and Jang Jisoo in the upcoming drama Knock-off.
In recent news, Kim Soo-hyun's much-anticipated drama Knock Off has already been confirmed for a second season before season one, as reported by media outlet SPOTV on May 29, 2024. The series would be available to stream on Disney+ and consists of nine episodes.
