However, supporters of Jake were quick to rally in his defense, arguing that the video circulating on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, was not authentic. Fans pointed out that the footage might have been manipulated using AI technology, clarifying that the incident never actually occurred.

Fans quickly debunked the claims surrounding Jake, stating that the alleged video appeared to be edited. They pointed out that the lip movements of the female staff in the clip did not align with the audio, suggesting clear signs of manipulation. A user on X, @iminiversegyu wrote:

"Leave jake alone please :( the whole thing was planned to ruin his reputation. That video was heavily EDITED on purpose, spread hate to him.."

"I hope you get sued for spreading misinformation," an X user commented.

Observers also noted discrepancies in the GIF, pointing out that Jake's body posture didn’t match normal physical reactions. His forward-leaning stance and sudden squat seemed unnatural, making fans question whether any real pushing took place.

"Can you just stop spread the wrong information about him, without you know what the actually happened ???!!!," a fan commented.

Fans refute viral videos accusing ENHYPEN's Jake of pushing saesangs at the airport

Supporters of Jake quickly rallied to defend him, pointing out that the circulating videos were fabricated. Additionally, the original poster on Weibo insisted that no one had been pushed, leading many to wonder why the staff was exerting such force if there had been no altercation.

Fans highlighted that discussions about him "pushing people" only emerged after the video went viral, fueling suspicions that it was orchestrated. They also referenced earlier airport footage from the same day, which garnered positive comments with no mention of any aggressive behavior. This led many to believe that the controversy was manufactured rather than a genuine incident.

ENHYPEN has faced several incidents with obsessive fans at airports. In 2020, their debut led to an attack at Gimpo Airport, leaving the group hurt and distressed. More recently, on September 2, 2024, a woman disguised as staff at Incheon Airport was revealed to be a sasaeng fan. Her convincing disguise fooled even the crew, but she was removed once identified.

Fans also criticized the label for not providing adequate security for the group in such situations.
