Reply 1988 fame Lee Hye-ri has been cast as the lead in the upcoming teen mystery thriller Friendly Competition, Korean news outlet Naver News reported on July 17, 2024. Based on a popular webtoon by Song Chae-yoon and illustrated by Shim Jae-young, the series is set to premiere in 2025.
The series delves into intense relationships among teenage girls competing for survival, going beyond academic exams. Lee Hye-ri plays Yoo Jae-yi, a highly capable student at Chaehwa Girls' High School. Despite her academic success, Jae-yi harbors a darker and cunning side, making her a formidable presence in the school.
