As reported by Sports Seoul on October 8, Lee Je-hoon, Pyo Ye-jin, and Kim Eui-sung have officially confirmed their roles in Taxi Driver 3. Although the production of the third season was confirmed in April last year, the cast remained uncertain.
According to the report, the three main actors from the previous seasons, Lee Je-hoon, Pyo Ye-jin, and Kim Eui-sung, have all agreed to return. The Taxi Driver series is adapted from a webtoon and centers on a secretive taxi company, Rainbow Transport, that seeks revenge on behalf of victims who cannot obtain justice.

Lee Je-hoon will reprise his role as Kim Do-gi, a former special forces operative who now leads Rainbow Transport’s revenge missions. The character was known for taking on different personas like Wang Da-o-ji, Jeon Won-do-gi, and Mudang-do-gi in the previous seasons.
Kim Eui-sung will also return as Jang Seong-cheol, the leader of the Blue Bird Foundation, which supports crime victims. He is the mastermind behind Rainbow Transport’s operations. Pyo Ye-jin is set to return as Ahn Go-eun, the skilled hacker at Rainbow Transport.
Taxi Driver 2 reportedly broke its own viewership records, surpassing Season 1’s peak and achieving a top rating of 20.9%, as per Nielsen Korea’s nationwide data. Internationally, the second season gained immense popularity.
Within just 10 days of its release, the drama reportedly topped rankings in 16 countries on Viu, Asia’s leading OTT platform. The series also maintained the highest spot in the Korean drama charts, earning an impressive score of 8.8 on MyDramaList, a global drama review platform.

Pyo Ye-jin is known for her roles in dramas like VIP, Fight for My Way, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim. In 2023, she appeared in two series, Our Blooming Youth and Moon in the Day, where she played her first female lead in a weekly miniseries.
Kim Eui-sung, a first-generation film actor who started on stage, is recognized for films such as The Day a Pig Fell into the Well, The Face Reader, and Train to Busan. His television roles include W, Under the Queen's Umbrella, and Black Knight.
In 2023, he portrayed the Minister of National Defense in the film 12.12: The Day, which became the highest-grossing Korean film of the year. As of June 2024, it ranks among the top-grossing and most-viewed films in South Korean history.
Filming for Taxi Driver 3 is set to begin in the latter half of this year, with the show expected to premiere in 2025.
