According to Ten Asia's broadcast on July 4, Lee Sang-yi will appear on the TV show CEO's Menu, which is a spinoff of the parent show Because I Don't Want to Lose Money on tvN. In the original show, he contributed significantly to the plot by adding and rearranging elements from the novel.
CEO's Menu is set to air immediately after Because I Don't Want to Lose Money, which premieres on August 26. In CEO's Menu, Lee Sang-yi plays an executive at a corporation who develops romantic feelings for a nutritionist, marking his first melodramatic role.
In Because I Don't Want to Lose, Lee Sang-yi portrays Bok Gyu-hyeon, a third-generation chaebol who rejects the idea of fated love and is single. The drama Because I Don't Want to Lose narrates the tale of Son Ha-young(played by Shin Min-ah), who cannot bear to lose money and Kim Ji-wook (played by Kim Young-dae), a man who married her because he didn't want to hurt her.
Han Ji-hyun to join Lee Sang-i in CEO's Menu
CEO's Menu will be led by Han Ji Hyun in addition to Lee Sang-yi. Han Ji-hyun will make an appearance as the company's nutritionist. In the parent drama, Lee Sang-yi and Han Ji-hyun will play the second lead pair, but in the CEO's Menu, they will be the main couple.

Director Kim Jeong-sik, known for his work in TVING's Drinker City Women, leads the drama Because I Don't Want to Lose Money. The narrative was completed with the assistance of writer Kim Hye-young, known for Her Private Life. Actors Shin Min-ah and Kim Young-dae have been confirmed to appear in the series.
Son Ha-young, driven by a fear of financial loss and haunted by past emotional neglect, concocts a scheme to secure a job promotion through a fake wedding. She persuades Kim Ji-wook, a compassionate part-time cashier, to pose as her fiancé. Ji-wook, known for his helpful nature, curiously agrees despite his usual reserve towards Ha-young. As their fake relationship evolves, they navigate personal vulnerabilities and unexpected feelings.
The spin-off will touch upon the life of Bok Gyu-hyeon and give the viewers a deeper insight into the character who refuses to believe in fated love.
Because I Don't Want to Lose Money is expected to have 12 episodes airing every Monday and Tuesday. CEO's Menu shall be released after the completion of the drama and add to the story.
