BTS fans have showcased their concerns as the K-pop boy group is reported to drop a comeback album followed by a world tour in 2025. On January 2, 2025, Asia Economy reported that the group is preparing an album that is likely to be released after the military discharge of the members who are currently serving.
Notably, RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are anticipated to be discharged from their military duties this year. The group is reported to unveil their album following their reunion, which would mark it as their first music release after completing their military services.
Furthermore, it has also been reported that the septet will go on a world tour that is said to be inspired by their album Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa (화양연화) or The Most Beautiful Moment in Life. This is to celebrate the 10th release anniversary of The Most Beautiful Moment in Life.
The album series was released between 2015 and 2016. It gave hits like I NEED U, Run, Save Me, Burning Up (Fire), Dope, Butterfly, and more. However, fans are not happy with the news, as they wish for the group to have an ample amount of rest before returning to the music scene.
"Let them rest and come back when they are ready"- a fan said
“Am I the only one who wants the world tour to be in 2026 so the big3 can't leech off their hype,”- a fan added.
“I want it to be in 2026 so bts can rest and work on their new project without feeling rushed and pressured to release things like a machine,”- a user stated.
Fans continued expressing their concerns regarding the reported world tour of BTS, which would take place in the second half of 2025.
“Guys the reporter just told about the assumptions and expectations that are already known, it’s neither a breaking news, nor a confirmation,”- a fan commented.
“I thought the world tour was 2026??? guys my money I'm gonna be poor, I thought I had time. What about j-hope solo tour....”- a user mentioned.
“Does BTS themselves know they are releasing an album and going on a world tour this year?”- another fan commented.
On the other hand, some fans expressed their enthusiasm and wish to see the group reunite and go on a tour. However, BIGHIT MUSIC is yet to comment on the reports.
“OHH I'M GONNA SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON THAT TOUR, i just hope they come to my country though hahaha,”- a user stated.
“I'm getting those tickets I'm going to do everything in my power to get them GOD PLEASE LET ME HAVE THIS WIN,”- a fan wrote.
“HYYH TOUR??? I'm securing those tickets one way or another,”- another fan wrote.
BTS’ 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life turns' 10 years in 2025: album trilogy, first win, BU, and more
On April 29, 2015, BIGHIT MUSIC boy group BTS released The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 1, with I Need U as the title tune. The title track has played a pivotal role in the success of the septet's journey as it helped them receive their first South Korean music show win on The Show on May 5, 2015.
The second part of the album series titled The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt. 2 was released a few months later on November 30, 2015, with the title song RUN. This is followed by the final album of the series, which is known as The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever, released on May 2, 2016.
The album trilogy received appreciation from fans due to the intriguing storyline of the music videos of the songs.
This paved the way for the infamous BTS Universe aka BU, which depicted the story of seven young boys stuck in a loop of tragic events until one of them realizes the pattern and attempts to save the rest of them.
Meanwhile, I Need U (Korean & Japanese Versions), Run (Korean & Japanese Versions), and EPILOGUE: Young Forever is available on the official YouTube channel of BTS.
