On December 12, BLACKPINK's Rosé added another record to her name by surpassing 49 million followers on TikTok. The female idol made history by being the first K-soloist with these followers on TikTok. As shown on her profile, she has more than 579.5 million likes on her page.

BLACKPINK's Rosé’s fans were overjoyed when she became the most-followed Korean idol on TikTok. As a result, her fans poured the internet with their love and praise for the singer. One of them on X stated:

“Nice! Let’s get that 50M Rosie!!!”

Many other fans gave their reactions to Rosé’s latest milestone. While some described her as a “Kpop queen,” others said that the singer is “really great.”

“Probably gonna end this year with 50 million,” wrote another fan.
“Kpop queen,” commented an admirer.
“Our Rose is really great,” stated a fan.
“Amazing,” a fan stated.

Some quoted her achievement as “amazing,” while many others were looking forward to her 50 million TikTok followers mark. Netizens were also proud of Rosé.

“Rosé breaking records and gains tons of achievements,” commented another fan.

BLACKPINK's Rosé became the most consumed artist on Global Digital Artist Ranking

On December 6, BLACKPINK's Rosé left behind Billie Eilish and became the most consumed female musician worldwide across global digital platforms. She came second overall, trailing Kendrick Lamar by over 2,000 points.

Following this, on December 7, BLACKPINK's Rosé surpassed Kendrick Lamar to take the top spot on the Global Digital Artist Ranking. This momentous milestone occurred with the roll out of Rosé's debut solo record, Rosie, on December 6.

Rosé also joined BLACKPINK as the only female K-pop act in history to attain the highest global digital artist rating with her most recent accomplishment.

On December 13, BLACKPINK's Rosé's debut solo album Rosie set a new record for the highest opening week for any K-pop album on Spotify this year, with 157.5 million listens in one day of monitoring remaining. The idol’s album also became the fastest album by a female K-pop act in history to exceed 700 million streams, as it achieved this milestone within six days of its release.

Rosé’s inaugural solo album, Rosie, featured a comprehensive collection of twelve tracks. The songs on her record are Number One Girl, two years, toxic till the end, drinks or coffee, APT. (ft. Bruno Mars), 3 a.m., Dance All Night, Gameboy, Call it the End, Stay a Little, Longer, Not the Same, and Too Bad For Us.

BLACKPINK's Rosé premiered two early-release tracks from her debut record, APT. and Number One Girl, on October 18 and November 22, respectively. The female idol created APT. with the famed American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars. After this, the complete record made its debut on December 6, 2024.
