ENHYPEN concluded their long-time world tour FATE on September 1, 2024. They first began the tour on July 29, 2023, and also held an encore tour titled FATE PLUS in Asia, with several shows in Japan. The previous tour lasted around 401 days and within a few hours of its conclusion, BELIFT LAB announced the upcoming tour, WALK THE LINE.
Fans have expressed their disappointment in the agency, believing that they have overworked the members of ENHYPEN with a packed schedule in the last tour and with the upcoming tour.
"LET THEM REST," a fan said.
"being aware that your artists are struggling to finish fate tour & announcing this literally right after the unnecessary extension is so sinister. yall clearly know their condition is deteriorating yet you still had the audacity to plan another tour while fate is ongoing f**k you," a fan added.
"I better not see you guys talking about getting tickets because you’ll be begging for them to rest then the second tickets drop you’re in the ticketmaster queue… please stop with the performative activism and have a little humanity,"a user stated.
Fans have also called for a boycott of the WALK THE LINE world tour in response to the announcement.
"ENGENE, we need to stand up for ENHYPEN's well-being. They deserve proper rest and care. To send a strong message, let's consider boycotting this concert. By doing so, we show that their health and happiness are more important than anything else," a user stated.
"To @BELIFTLAB @HYBEOFFICIALtwt , Please stop putting ENHYPEN’s well-being at risk by subjecting them to relentless schedules. ENGENEs demand proper scheduling & urge you to prioritize their health above all else to prevent exhaustion & long-term repercussions," a fan commented.
"Engenes, DON’T BUY TICKETS FOR THEIR UPCOMING TOUR. We need to boycott their activities until Enhypen can get proper rest, because that is truly what we want from them!" a user added.
Why are ENHYPEN's fans upset over the upcoming WALK THE LINE world tour?
ENHYPEN recently completed the FATE PLUS world tour in Japan, and fans have reportedly noticed that the members were seemingly not well during the stage performances of the final shows. On August 24, BELIFT LAB released an official statement regarding Jay's health conditions. Jay was diagnosed with the flu and had to sit out of the Japan concert, raising concerns among the fans.
Netizens demanded that BELIFT LAB manage the schedules of their artists better and allow them to have required breaks, as they believed the members were exhausted due to the world tour.
However, the recent announcement of the WALK THE LINE world tour garnered negative reactions from the fans.
In other news, ENHYPEN is set to hold an exhibition titled UNSEEN in Seoul from October 2 to October 20, 2024.
