On November 10, 2024, BLACKPINK's Jennie performed live at the 2024 Super Pop Japan. Since this was the idol's first solo performance at a music festival, fans were thrilled to see her on stage. She performed her latest comeback solo track, Mantra, which was released on October 11, 2024.

The BLACKPINK rapper also performed her 2023 solo single, You & Me, which was released under YG Entertainment and Interscope Records on October 6, 2023. The international music festival, Superpop Japan, was held in Osaka, Japan, at Panasonic Stadium on November 9 and 10.

Fans soon flooded social media lauding her performance. One fan wrote on X:

Her admirers mentioned how much they love her recent track, Mantra.

Several fans also praised her performance outfit- a pink and orange checkered co-ord set- and her peppy dance steps.

She then left YG Entertainment in December 2023 and established her label, ODDATELIER, on December 24, 2023. She signed a partnership deal with Columbia Records and dropped Mantra, a powerful anthem that channels confidence, strength, and ambition.

Within hours of its release, Mantra took over the top positions on various streaming platforms, garnering millions of views on YouTube in record time. It also debuted at No. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It dropped to No. 99 in its second week.


In other news, Billboard reported that Mantra earned over 81% on its weekly poll as the most-loved song by fans on October 13, 2024.
