On September 18, 2024, BTS' Jin was seen at Incheon International Airport, South Korea, heading to Milan, Italy, for his first-ever fashion show appearance. As the global brand ambassador for Gucci, the idol is set to attend the luxury fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2025 show, scheduled for September 20, 2024.

Dressed head-to-toe in Gucci, Jin wore a denim shirt with Gucci embroidery layered over a cotton jersey t-shirt, paired with denim pants and Gucci's re-web sneakers. Before departing for Milan, the BTS member updated fans via Weverse, expressing his wish to reconnect with them. He asked if they had enjoyed their Chuseok holiday and shared that he had spent time with his family, preparing and eating traditional food.
Speaking from the airport, the star mentioned that he was about to board a flight to Milan for the first time to attend an event, playfully adding that while he claimed to be nervous, he wasn't feeling so. He wrote,
