On Saturday, September 21, episode 314 of the MBC talk show Omniscient Interfering View aired, featuring Huh Mimi, who had BTS' Taehyung’s TYPE 1 photo card in her bag. The Olympic silver medalist and judo champion Huh Mimi has been a longtime fan of Kim Taehyung, aka V. She has mentioned Taehyung several times in her interviews.

Recently, a short clip and images of BTS' Taehyung’s photo card in Huh Mimi’s pouch went viral. Consequently, both V’s fans and other X users inundated the internet with their responses about Mimi's admiration for Taehyung. One of them said:

Korean Judo champion Huh Mimi has been a longtime fan of BTS' Taehyung

Huh Mimi, a South Korean National Judo team member, expressed her fondness for BTS' Kim Taehyung after securing a silver medal at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games.

On July 30, in a talk with the Korean media agency News 1, Huh Mimi expressed her opinions regarding the outcomes of the women's 57 kg Judo category and her views on BTS' Taehyung.

"I've always wanted to meet V, but I wonder if I can meet him as a silver medalist instead of a gold medalist."

In addition to Huh Mimi, table tennis player Shin Yu Bin also expressed her admiration for BTS' Taehyung. In July 2024, Taehyung expressed his support for Olympic athlete Shin Yu Bin at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.
