On November 4, 2024, the American streaming platform Disney Plus Korea announced that the romance and comedy drama Love Your Enemy will be released on November 23, 2024. The drama will be available to stream on tvN domestically at 21:20 Korean Standard Time every Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
It can be watched internationally on Disney+ and Rakuten Viki in selected countries and will feature eight episodes. The forthcoming drama has been produced by production companies, including Studio Dragon and Blitzway Studio.
Love Your Enemy revolves around the love story between a man and a woman who faces painful separation due to the conflict of families and unexpected twists. It was penned by screenwriter Lim Hye-jin and helmed by director Park Jun-hwa.
The former is famous for Love in the Moonlight, The Tale of Nokdu, and other series. The latter is known for projects like Alchemy of Souls, Touch Your Heart, Because This Is My First Life, and others.

Plot
The forthcoming series Love Your Enemy will depict the enemies-to-lover trope. Yoon Ji-won and Seok Ji-won have the same birth date and name. They have been staunch enemies for generations and reunite unexpectedly after 18 years.

He has to depart from his hometown due to family issues. However, he returns to his native place after tasting success. In their hometown, he meets his staunch rival, Yoon Ji-won, after eighteen years, who has the habit of getting angry at him at every encounter.

Jung Yu-mi will play the character of Yun Ji-won. Yun Ji-won has become a physical education teacher at the Creative Experience Club of Dokmok High School. Due to her personality, she received the nickname 'Dokmok High School Mad Dog' during her school days.
Yun Ji-won has been described as someone who cannot endure injustice. She always tends to correct bad habits to satisfy herself. However, her life takes a drastic turn when she reunites with her eighteen-year-old enemy, Seok Ji-won.
