South Korean film production company, Acemaker Moviework, announced the production of an upcoming thriller film, Gory: A Horror Tale. Well-known K-pop idols including LOVELYZ's Jisoo (Seo Ji-soo), WJSN's Eunseo (Son Ju-yeon), MAMAMOO's Solar (Kim Young-sun), and STAYC's Sumin (Bae Su-min). The film will be directed by Hong Won-ki, who is known for Goedam.
The forthcoming film's ensemble also includes Yoo Jae-myung, renowned for his previous projects like No Way Out: The Roulette, Itaewon Class, Land of Happiness, Harbin, and more. Additionally, South Korean actress Moon Chae-won from Flower of Evil will also star in the movie. Seo Young-hee, Cha Sun-woo aka Baro, and Choi Bo-min will have joined the cast.
Gory: A Horror Tale is set to be released in 2025 and focuses on several individuals who experience similar incidents, revealing a strange connection between all the characters. These include a senior police officer who insists on handling a case alone despite his junior's objections and an elderly man who tries to damage the village's ethereal guardian tree.

Furthermore, it will also show a beauty-obsessed office worker who tampers with her neighbor's packages; a mother who makes deals with ghosts to get her daughter into medical school; and a college student who uses horror exploration content to gain social media fame.
