"Man is spoiling us" — Fans rejoice as BTS' Jin is set to appear on 'The K-Star Next Door' talk show hosted by Jonathan

On October 23, 2024, reports of BTS' Jin appearing on the popular South Korean talk show The K-Star Next Door went viral online. The show is hosted by comedian and entertainer Jonathan, who was also seen as one of the jury members on the popular show My Sibling's Romance. Furthermore, the episode featuring the BTS singer as a special guest will be aired on October 29, 2024.

The episode will premiere on the show's official YouTube channel, 동네스타K (Neighborhood Star K). Meanwhile, The K-Star Next Door appearance will mark one of the two talk show appearances of the BTS singer since his military discharge in June 2024. Jin is also set to appear on Salon Drip on November 5, 2024, which will be released on the YouTube channel TEO Universe.

Fans were excited to see the Grammy-nominated singer film several reality shows and appear on talk shows. An admirer underscored how the idol has been "spoiling" them with content and wrote on X:

"Another content from Seokjin coming. Man is spoiling us with so much content since he discharged."

The BTS fandom expressed how they wished the singer appeared on the popular talk show The K-Star Next Door and interacted with Jonathan. They further shared their enthusiasm on X to see him on a funny and engaging show like this one.

"OMG THIS SHOW WAS ONE OF MY SUGGESTIONS ON WEVERSE they did it for me," a fan wrote.
"I love when any of the tannies went to shows like this and the staffs go ijbol whenever they talk. I stan funny men," another fan wrote.
"Wanted one of the Tannies to attend there for a long time it's happeninggg," another fan stated.

Others talked about how the BTS phenomenon has been putting a lot of effort into creating several videos for his followers. They joked about how they couldn't handle his busy schedule.

"Omg another guesting! Seokjin really works so hard that I can't keep up!!! I need to place them all in my calendar so I won't miss a show!" one fan said.
"Army: we have only 8 months left bts will be here soon. Jin: delusional people correct your facts they still have 100+ days left," another fan joked.
"Lmfao jin correcting the interviewer: 'correction, absolutely none of them are coming out soon, the rest have hundreds of days left. wdym?'" one other fan commented.

BTS' Jin on a streak of filming reality shows and appearing on talk shows

The Epiphany singer-songwriter was discharged from mandatory military service on June 12, 2024. Following his discharge, he has been constantly filming for reality shows, including his own YouTube reality show.

He premiered his YouTube variety show RUN JIN on BTS' official channel, BANGTANTV, on August 13, 2024; a spin-off of BTS' variety show, Run BTS! Following this, he appeared on episodes 15 and 16 of MBC's Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island as a special guest, which was released on MBC's official website and YouTube channel.

Jin then featured on Japan's popular charity event show, I Love Everyone's Zoo. The show is aired on Nippon Television (NTV) and is a renowned annual charity program. The BTS member was joined by Arashi member Masaki Aiba, and the two celebrities groomed and took care of rescue dogs to raise funds.

On October 22, the popular South Korean talk show Salon Drip, hosted by Jang Do-yeon, teased an episode featuring BTS' Jin, toward the end of episode 63. Apart from appearing on Jonathan's The K-Star Next Door on October 29 at 6 pm KST, the K-pop idol is set to appear on Netflix's Kian Bizarre B&B. The Netflix show will be aired in 2025 and will also feature actress Ji Ye-eun.


In other news, the BTS member is set to release his debut solo album, Happy, consisting of six tracks, on November 15, 2024. The album's pre-release single will be globally released on October 25.
