On Thursday, November 14, BLACKPINK's Lisa sat down for an interview with Billboard. She also made history as the magazine's first-ever global cover star as she graced its cover over ten regions, including Japan, Korea, and the US. During the interview, she talked about various things, from her goals with her new label, LLOUD to her other activities as a soloist.
She talked about her latest song, Moonlit Floor, which was released on October 4. She also seemingly addressed the rumors about the song being inspired by her alleged boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault. Soon after the song's release, rumors about the song being about Arnault due to its lyrics, "green-eyed French boy" started circulating on the internet.
The rumors about the two dating first landed on the internet when the idol attended the TAG Heuer x KITH Event at the Rubell Museum in Miami, Florida, in May this year. The two were spotted hanging out together at the event. However, no official confirmation regarding the two's relationship was made.

Therefore, the interviewer at Billboard asked her about the circulating rumors of Moonlit Floor being about her alleged boyfriend, due to the song's lyrics. Regardless, the idol neither confirmed nor denied the rumors. She simply answered the question with the fact that she didn't write the song. She said:
"Well, I didn't write that song."
Following the same, fans were relieved that the idol spoke about the rumors that associated the song with Arnault, as they felt netizens failed to recognize the song's independent qualities. Here are a few reactions regarding the same:

In Lisa's interview with Billboard, she talked about various things that have kept her busy, from her new role as the CEO of LLOUD to her active releases as a solo artist. Naturally, the interviewer asked her about her shift from a group member under BLACKPINK to a solo artist, and her experience of the same.
“At first, I was scared and nervous because I never really come out here to do my own stuff,. And now I’m having fun. When (my singles) came out, the reaction from the fans, it’s healing me. It’s like, ‘Oh, my God. Yeah — I did a great job!’'” she stated.
She also talked about her new title as the CEO of LLOUD. However, she expressed her discomfort with the title. She stated that she prefers being called Boss or Boss Lisa. Additionally, she also talked about how interested she was in growing and working with the company. While the agency is mostly focused on the idol and her solo activities, she liked the control she gained through the same.
“I feel like Lloud is like my safe zone that always focuses on Lisa, supports Lisa. was just thinking about what I want to achieve this year, (taking it) year by year. So this year, what I wanted to do is work on new music and focus on that.”
She continued:
“Now I know how much it all costs. I’ve been under YG, and everyone was taking care of that, so I never really knew what’s going on or how much we spent for our music videos or photo shoots or hotels. But now I do kind of know about it, so I was like, ‘Oh, OK — no first class anymore.’”
The idol also talked about how she's hoping for the BLACKPINK members to reunite as a group again. While the members are taking a break to concentrate on their growth as solo artists, she thinks that they might reunite in 2025. However, she's unsure as to how or when the reunion might happen.
