On September 11, 2024, American singer and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion X BTS' RM's collaborative track Neva Play bagged the No.1 position on Amazon's Best Sellers across all genres, achieving a new milestone.

Neva Play (feat. RM of BTS) explicit version and Neva Play (feat. RM of BTS) ranked at the No.1 and No.2 positions, respectively. The track also emerged at the No.1 position on Amazon's New releases across all genres on the same day.

Megan Thee Stallion released Neva Play (feat. RM of BTS) on September 6, 2024, through Hot Girl and Warner. The track was penned by songwriters that included Megan Thee Stallion, LilJuMadeDaBeat, RM, Shae Jacobs, B Ham, Peter Fenn, and Hadar Adora. It was produced by producers such as LilJuMadeDaBeat, Shae Jacobs, Peter Fenn, and B Ham.

Neva Play hit No.1 on iTunes music chart in 87 countries

Following the release of Megan Thee Stallion and BTS' RM's collaborative track Neva Play, the track reached the No.1 position on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 87 countries, including the United States. The latest record further charted at the No.1 position on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart and No.2 on the European iTunes chart for the consecutive second day.

The countries where Neva Play (feat. RM) reached the No.1 position on the iTunes Top Songs chart include Japan, Australia, France, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Thailand, New Zealand, Bolivia, Austria, Estonia, Ireland, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Turkey, India, UAE, Nepal, Uganda, Brunei, Kenya, Colombia, and other regions.

According to Midweek Predictions, Neva Play (feat.RM) has been predicted to debut among the top 40 on Billboard Hot 100. Subsequently, the fandom ARMYs were encouraging each other to mass stream and buy the duo's latest collaborative track.

In recent news, the South Korean media outlet Kyunghyang reported that BTS' RM has donated 100 million won to the Veteran's Welfare Fund through Everyone's Veterans Dreams to celebrate his birthday as a meaningful occasion. He made the following donation to join the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs' Uniformed Service Member Appreciation Campaign.

The donated amount will be used to provide support and recognize the welfare of national meritors and bereaved families, among uniformed service members. According to BigHit Music, Kim Namjoon said the following words about his recent donation, as translated by X user feeragreen:

"I have been feeling the dedication of many people in the field these days. I hope that I can be of some small help to all the heroes who are dedicating themselves to the country even now and to the many people who have been working for peace. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the ARMY for always showering me with love and congratulations."

BTS' RM began mandatory military service on December 11, 2023, alongside the group member Kim Taehyung.
