According to the latest report by Sports Kyunghyang, a former lawyer from South Korean lawfirm Kim & Chang, claimed that BTS fans (ARMY) are allegedly supporting Min Hee-jin amidst the ongoing feud between her and HYBE. The lawyer stated that after Jungkook's Instagram posts, where the idol showed his alleged support for NewJeans, the ARMY changed their stance on the ongoing case.

For the unversed, on September 11, ADOR's girl group, NewJeans, went live on YouTube and demanded HYBE reinstate Min Hee-jin as ADOR's CEO by September 25, 2024. The group stated that they don't accept Kim Joo-young as their new CEO and don't feel safe under her management.

On September 14, Jungkook posted two pictures of his pet dog, Bam, on Bam's Instagram account. The captions read, "Artists are not guilty" and "Don't use them." Several NewJeans fans assumed that the idol sided with the girl group. However, HYBE later confirmed that Jungkook's stance was against Min Hee-jin using NewJeans as a "shield."

Jungkook's action left netizens divided and confused if he sided with NewJeans or called out Min Hee-jin for dragging the rookie girl group into the company feud. Despite being removed as ADOR CEO, Min Hee-jin was appointed as the creative director of the label.

Meanwhile, the lawyer's claim about ARMYs supporting Min Hee-jin enraged the fandom. They trended several hashtags and phrases on X like "ARMY WANT MHJ OUT OF HYBE," #MinHeeJinOut, #ARMYsWantMHJOut, and #Dont_Use_BTS_and_ARMY and demanded the complete removal of Min Hee-jin from HYBE and ADOR.

Several fans called out the lawyer for allegedly spreading misinformation about ARMYs. They mentioned that ARMYs were always on BTS' side, and they neither support HYBE nor Min Hee-jin.

"Attorney kim has accepted tht mhj tried to attack bts!! Wts hybe waiting for???ARMY WANT MHJ OUT OF HYBE," one X user wrote.
"Wow, ARMY and BTS validation are real. Just to be clear, we’re not on HYBE’s side since the beginning and specially not on mhj side now. We’re in BTS side who’s one of the group that was attack by mhj. We care and only side with BTS. This is so funny tbh, Attorney Kim," another ARMY said.

"That makes me think that they’re desperate of our attention to win the argument," one other ARMY stated.

ARMYs also highlighted how previously Min Hee-jin allegedly wanted the Dynamite band gone from HYBE when her chat screenshots were leaked by Dispatch in April 2024.

"You might be able to gaslight and fool idiotic knetz, but we haven't forgotten how you: 1. wanted BTS gone for your own benefit. 2. wanted to "end" BTS to hurt Hybe. 3. spread malicious lies about multiple Hybe groups. 4. supported SA and hated on women... and more," an ARMY added.

"Media manipulation is reaching new levels everyday. We have articles trending claiming that ARMY are on Min Hee Jin's side and articles questioning the real intent of a member's post. Don't use BTS as pawns in your own game!" another ARMY commented.
"No ARMY would ever support anyone who laughed at the idea of ending BTS," another ARMY retorted.

More details about Min Hee-jin's public feud with HYBE that entangled BTS & NewJeans as well

In April 2024, HYBE Corporation launched an internal audit on former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin. As the parent company of ADOR, HYBE learned incriminating details about Min Hee-jin's alleged intention to take over ADOR and NewJeans and leave HYBE. HYBE filed a criminal lawsuit against her for breach of contract and revealing company secrets. They also asked her to step down from her CEO role.

Later, screenshots of her alleged chat with a shaman on KakaoTalk chat were leaked. She reportedly expressed her wish that BTS would leave in the leaked chats. She also met with the Dunamu and Naver executives and a foreign investor and conspired to crash HYBE stocks. Dunamu, who is the third-largest shareholder of HYBE, informed the parent company of Min Hee-jin's alleged plan.

HYBE called for an emergency shareholders meeting on May 30, 2024; however, due to Min Hee-jin's temporary injunction, HYBE was prohibited by the court from using its majority shareholders' right in the meeting to dismiss her as the CEO. HYBE owns 80% of ADOR. However, HYBE replaced ADOR's board of directors.

Later, on August 28, 2024, ADOR's independent board of directors dismissed Min Hee-jin as ADOR's CEO and appointed Kim Joo-young as the new label head. However, they appointed Min Hee-jin as the in-house creative director for NewJeans, but she refused to sign the contract. A few days later, NewJeans went live on YouTube, demanding her re-appointment as the CEO.

On September 13, 2024, Min Hee-jin reportedly filed another injunction at the Seoul Central District Court to call an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to reappoint herself as the CEO of ADOR.

Her current contract with HYBE and ADOR expires in November 2024 as NewJeans' creative director, which she refused to sign. It also stated that if her performance as the creative director lacked quality, then the company would terminate her contract as well by the end of November 2024.
