On Wednesday, October 30, NCT DREAM released the teaser images for Haechan and the other member for their comeback, DREAMSCAPE. While fans were excited to learn more about the upcoming album and its aesthetics, they were soon disappointed to see how the teaser images were edited for the member, Haechan.
The images were edited to make the idol, Haechan, appear fairer, which upset many netizens who felt it disrespected his natural skin tone. Known for having a tanner complexion, Haechan's fans quickly criticized SM Entertainment for whitewashing the teaser images.

All you need to know about NCT's Haechan and his upcoming release under NCT DREAM, DREAMSCAPE
Haechan, also known as Lee Dong-hyuck, is a South Korean singer who debuted with NCT in 2016. He is part of two fixed sub-units, NCT 127 and NCT DREAM, and also participates in NCT U, where any of the 25 members form temporary subunits for specific songs.
These formations typically occur for special releases or during the annual album release. Additionally, Haechan launched his solo career with a single titled Good Person in 2022.
Currently, the idol is gearing up for a comeback with NCT DREAM. NCT DREAM is a seven-piece K-pop boy group that was created in 2016.
