BLACKPINK's Jennie and Rosé have caught fans' attention online as their recent footage in New York City goes viral. On December 11, the BLACKPINK members were seen leaving a building together, hand in hand. Some fans and paparazzi spotted them, and several videos and photos have been circulated online.

Notably, this is not the first time the two K-pop idols have been seen together in New York. In May 2024, they broke the internet with pictures of walking on the streets that were officially shared on their respective Instagram pages.

As BLACKPINK is currently on a group hiatus due to their solo projects and overseas schedules, fans were delighted to learn that Jennie and Rosé were catching up with each other.

Fans shared their excitement while sharing memes and hilarious reactions about them on X. One fan said:

BLACKPINK's Jennie and Rosé's solo music releases in 2024 and social media interactions

On October 10, 2024, Jennie released her solo comeback song, Mantra, gaining appreciation from listeners and fans. On the same day, she also released a music video accompanying the track, showcasing the choreography directed by popular dancer and choreographer JoJo “Gomez” Okimura.

Her bandmate Rosé showed support for her solo track on Instagram stories saying,

She also shared the Mantra MV with the caption:

Meanwhile, Rosé dropped her pre-release singles APT. Ft. Bruno Mars and number one girl on October 18 and November 22, 2024, respectively. The Australian-Korean singer released her highly anticipated first solo album rosie, on December 6, 2024.

Jennie extended her love and support to Rosé’s album with a message on her Instagram story, stating that she missed her.

Rosé’s first full-length album ‘rosie’ consists of a total of eleven songs, including the title song ‘toxic till the end’.
