My Military Valentine: Episodes 5 and 6 recap

Episode 3: Seo Hee Ji gets Lloyd the approval to change departments

After getting shot in the last episode, Song-i is rushed to the hospital. While Lloyd wants to delve further into the matter, Young-ok refuses, prioritizing her duty and her orders. During a conversation with his comrades, he also finds out that Violet comprises Unit 112 members who are no longer needed due to the unification of the two countries.

Meanwhile, Hee-ji, determined to win her case goes to Dong-pil, the South Korean vice-commissioner, and gets him to let Lloyd move to Defense PR. She informs Lloyd of the same and tells him that he can pay her back by getting lunch together. Hee-ji takes him to Jae-hoon's pub where Young-ok has also just arrived to meet him.

Lloyd is distracted by Young-ok but eventually starts talking about Violet with Ji-hee. Right then, a group enters discussing Song-i and claiming her to be a stalker. This infuriates Lloyd who starts an argument with them. He has to be torn away from them by Song-i and Jae-hoon.

Young-ok struggles to sleep as she lies down with Lloyd's worry doll and sadly thinks about him leaving. To cope with her feelings, she starts working out in the gym. Lloyd finds her and thanks her for everything and asks her to look out for Song-i.

The next day, Lloyd prepares to leave and waves goodbye to his unit. Midway, he asks his driver to turn the vehicle around as he wishes to see Song-i one last time. After he leaves, a Violet member dressed as a doctor infiltrates the hospital and is chased by Young-ok.

However, he is accompanied by two more men who overpower her. Meanwhile, Lloyd comes to the rescue, pointing his gun at the terrorist.

Episode 6: Lloyd as bait

Episode 6 of My Military Valentine starts with Lloyd holding the gun to the terrorist's head and threatening to fire it. However, they manage to escape. Young-ok, to know more about the terrorists' intentions, tries to unlock Song-i's phone. Lloyd takes it from her and easily unlocks it and asks her is she wants to work together. He has now decided to continue in the Unified Armed Force Unit.

Young-ok reports to her superior, the Vice-Commissioner who devises a plan that is based on using Lloyd as bait for the terrorists though Young-ok is worried about their safety. As a marketing strategy, they organise a photo shoot with the unit.

On the other hand, Jae-hoon has infiltrated the camp wearing a soldier's uniform and is searching for something. To escape he changes back into his normal clothes and pretends to have come to meet Young-ok. While leaving, he drops an ID card which she notices.

Back in the pub, Jae-hoon reprimands Seung-tae, the terrorist who went to the hospital in order to kill Song-i. In a flashback, it is shown that Jae-hoon feels betrayed as a soldier after having given years of his life to his country.

In the photo shoot, Seung-tae, now distrustful of Jae-hoon aims at Lloyd with a sniper rifle. Young-ok finds him and disrupts his plan as the unit and Seung-tae along with another terrorist engage in a chase. While Seung-tae escapes, his companion is caught.

During interrogation, they find out that Song-i has information about the identity of Violet's terrorists. Lloyd decides to visit Song-i, overcome by worry and guilt. Right then, she has a cardiac arrest but survives. In the camp, Lloyd finds Young-ok looking through his belongings.

He loses his calm when she asks him to hand over anything that Song-i might have given him. Attempting to battle her, he gets knocked down. With this episode 6 of My Military Valentine ends.
