On Sunday, October 20, BTS' Taehyung was spotted at the ARMY supermarket, where he posed with his fan for a photo. The Inner Child vocalist’s photo in military uniform with his fan went viral on the internet, where fans particularly noticed his wired earphones.
BTS' Taehyung’s fans seemed impressed with him for using wired earphones in the era of Bluetooth earpods. Therefore, the idol’s admirers came out in his support and inundated the internet with praises for him. Expressing this sentiment, one user on X stated:
“In the era of Bluetooth earpods, Taehyung still uses wired earphones :( my vintage vante.”

Many other mixed responses from BTS' Taehyung’s fans were recorded online. While some said that the wired earphones are good for health, another fan called him a ‘vintage lover.’

BTS' Taehyung’s military discharge is anticipated to happen in June 2025
Kim Taehyung officially enlisted in the Korean army on December 11, 2023, alongside his bandmate RM, aka Namjoon. BTS' Taehyung is set to complete his mandatory military duty in June 2025, when the entire boy band is expected to reunite. Other BTS members are projected to complete their military duties next year and return in the second half of 2025.
On January 16, BTS’ V and Namjoon were chosen as two of the six 'elite trainees' of the '27th Recruit Training Regiment' out of 200 trainees, and they were recognized for their outstanding performance during the five-week training program.
In related news, BTS’ j-hope completed his mandatory service on October 17, 2024. The singer was enlisted on April 18, 2023. Besides, Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, was the first BTS member to finish his military service on June 12, 2024.
As of this writing, Namjoon, Taehyung, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook are serving their terms in the military.
