On October 8, the official Instagram page of Meetings of Styles shared BTS' Taehyung’s image as the representative of South Korea at Taiwan's International Street Art & Graffiti Festival. Kim Taehyung’s picture recreated in graffiti style was posted by Meeting of Styles Taiwan.

The country’s art and graffiti festival is set to start on October 18 and continue until October 20. It will be held around the intersection of Nanjing Street, Bo'ai Street and the Sunrise Boulevard area in Hualien City, Taiwan.

BTS' Taehyung impressed his fans with yet another accomplishment. Therefore, V’s admirers flooded the internet with praises for the singer. Expressing their sentiment, one user on X stated:

Many other responses from X users were seen online. While many congratulated BTS' Taehyung, some fans alluded to him as ‘Korea’s Prince.’

“SK is proud of Taehyung,,, congratulations Tae you're unstoppable”- wrote a fan.
“Korea's Prince and Nation's Treasure”- commented an admirer.

One fan said that Taehyung is an ‘Iconic Talented Artist,’ while another admirer recalled the singer’s ‘Butter era’ pictures after seeing his latest graffiti image. For the uninitiated, BTS’ Butter track was released in May 2021.

BTS' Taehyung is the most popular K-pop artist born after 1990

BTS' Taehyung has secured a position on a list of the most popular musicians across the globe. As of September 29, Google data indicates that he is the most popular K-pop artist born after 1990.

His bandmate Jungkook closely trails in the second position. Globally, V is ranked twelfth among foreign artists, while Jungkook is ranked thirteenth.

On October 7, BTS' Taehyung was awarded "Summer Artist of 2024" in the "Top 50 Summer Battles," entering the esteemed Winners' Palm Tree. V created history as the inaugural K-pop soloist for this honor, adding to his long list of accolades. The Singularity vocalist has now equaled his group's prior achievement after BTS received the same title in 2019.

In other news, Kim Taehyung was spotted attending IU’s encore concert with his fellow BTS member, j-hope on September 22. The BTS member shared several pictures via his Instagram story, including a picture with j-hope.


Currently, BTS' Taehyung is fulfilling his obligatory military service. He was conscripted on December 11, 2023. The artist is expected to be back on June 10, 2025. He enlisted in the military alongside fellow BTS member RM.
