BTS' Jin became a topic of discussion during actor Kim Soo-hyun's Asia fan meeting tour called EYES ON YOU in Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 7, 2024. The host mentioned that the BTS idol had expressed admiration for Queen of Tears, in an interview with W Korea in July. Jin had praised a particular scene from the show. At the event, Kim Soo-hyun appeared visibly surprised by this revelation.
When the actor learned about his new admirer, he reacted with excitement. His surprised and animated response brought a wave of laughter and cheers from the audience. He enthusiastically exclaimed:

For those unaware, Jin shared in a previous interview that he had recently become a fan of the drama even though he wasn’t able to watch it when it initially aired as he was in the military.
He highlighted several memorable moments, from actor Kim Soo-hyun's portrayal of the tearful Baek Hyun-woo to actress Kim Ji-won’s role as the icy Hong Hae-in. One particular scene that stood out to Jin was when a drunken Baek Hyun-woo plucked flower petals, trying to determine whether his wife still loved him.

This tour, which began in Bangkok on June 15, marks Kim Soo-hyun's first major fan meeting in nearly a decade, following his last tour in 2014 after the success of My Love From the Star.
