Netflix confirms The Boyfriend commentary episode with full cast and announces giveaway: Date, airtime, where to stream, how to participate & more

On July 30, 2024, Netflix Japan announced a reunion episode of The Boyfriend with the full cast. The special episode will be aired on Saturday, August 3 at 8 PM JST or August 3 at 11 AM UTC.

Additionally, Netflix announced a giveaway in which 20 random lucky winners will get unique merch items created in association with the well-known company NKNIT. Viewers can participate in the giveaway by following the X account, @NetflixJP, and posting their tweets with the hashtags #boyfriendnight.

The cast members, Alan, Dai, Gensei, Ikuo, Kazuto, Ryota, Shun, Taehon, and Yusaku will come back for the special live screening. Furthermore, the reality show hosts, MEGUMI, Chiaki Horan, Thelma Aoyama, Dorian Lollobrigida, and Yoshimi Tokui will join the live commentary as well.
