"New album soon" — Fans react as BTS Jin shares a Weverse update from studio 

On July 5, 2024, BTS Jin took to the South Korean social media platform Weverse, updating fans about his whereabouts. In the picture update, the Moon singer was seated in a studio with headphones. He donned a gray Gucci Cotton Jersey Printed Sweatshirt in the photo.

Jin was officially discharged from his mandatory military service from the Fifth Infantry Division Recurit Battalion in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, on June 12, 2024.

Since his return from duty after completing his service as an active duty soldier for eighteen months, the fandom has been anticipating the release of his upcoming solo projects, including singles, album, and variety show appearances.

It should also be noted that the idol's last solo single, The Astronaut, was released in October 2022, and it's been almost two years since the idol unveiled any records. Recent activities of BTS Jin

Following the idol's discharge from military duty, he went to the HYBE building and started a Weverse live without changing his military uniform on June 12, 2024. He had previously promised ARMYs that he would greet them as soon as he concluded his duty.

On the next day (June 13, 2024), the idol organized an in-person FESTA event to commemorate the group's eleventh anniversary with the fans at the Jamsil Arena in Jamsil Sports Complex, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea.
