BIGHIT MUSIC boy group TXT is confirmed to go on a hiatus in 2025. On December 10, the agency confirmed that the boy group will go on a long-term break through an official statement on Weverse.

The agency stated that the group's final schedule before the break will be the upcoming Golden Disc Awards ceremony on January 5, 2025. The statement read:

“Following their schedule at the 39th Golden Disc Awards on January 5 (KST), TOMORROW X TOGETHER will conclude their activities for 2024 and embark on a long-term break. During this time, the members plan to spend quality moments with their families and take time to rest, preparing to return to MOA with an extraordinary 2025 ahead.”

The agency further added that the group will return after taking ample rest while also asking for fans’ support and understanding on this decision. Fans attributed this positive development to the recent appointment of the newly appointed CEO of BIGHIT MUSIC, Shin Seon-jeong.

Shin Seon-jeong was appointed as the new CEO of the agency on November 26, 2024. She is known to have contributed immensely to the agency since 2010. As fans learned the news about TXT's long-term break they were delighted and linked the decision to her leadership.
