Newjeans, ENHYPEN, TXT, & more treat fans with thoughtful gifts at the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer

K-pop groups like NewJeans, ENHYPEN, TXT, and more surprised fans with thoughtful presents at the 2024 Gayo Daejeon Summer. On Sunday, July 21, at INSPIRE arena in Incheon, the SBS music festival witnessed performances from popular K-pop groups. In return, the bands prepared presents and treats for the attendees, especially for their fandoms.

In the past few years, the artists have given back their love for fans through gifts and treats at the music festival. On an online community platform the Qoo, fans revealed what gifts they received at the music festival, and soon images and photos of the gifts started to circulate on global platforms like X (formerly Twitter).

According to the photos shared, girl group NewJeans gifted fans with GUCCI flora fragrances, Olen's gift cards, and different key rings. Meanwhile, the BELIFT boy group ENHYPEN prepared mugs seemingly designed and inspired by their latest album ROMANCE: UNTOLD, along with coaster sets.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER's sweet treats for fans at the festival included madeleines. LE SSERAFIM also treated fans with desserts like old ferry donuts and vanilla cake.

Rookie girl group ILLIT gifted fans with refreshing mango shaved ice cream also known as Bingsoo. On the other hand, the JYP Entertainment boy group Stray Kids gave STAYs cooling bags and portable fans.

On July 21, 2024, SBS held its first summer edition of the Gayo Daejeon music festival. The festival was hosted by NCT 127’s Doyoung, TXT's Yeonjun, and IVE's Yu-jin. Doyoung, Yeonjun, and Yu-jin showcased their chemistry as a trio with their anchoring skills as SBS Inkigayo’s former and current MCs.

Besides this, the IVE leader garnered attention from fans and netizens online for her blue gown filled with shimmer and detailed work.

With electrifying performances by K-pop groups like NewJeans, ENHYPEN, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and more, 2024 Gayo Daejeon Summer displayed the theme of New Generation K-POP.

The ADOR girl group NewJeans performed their song How Sweet and Supernatural, their debut Japanese single released in June 2024. NewJeans caught fans' attention with their Power Ranger suits and their dancers' outfits also went viral among netizens.

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN performed XO (Only If You Say Yes) and Fatal Trouble from their recently released album ROMANCE: UNTOLD. With their performance of EASY and Smart, LE SSERAFIM created a buzz on social media as they announced their comeback at the 2024 Gayo Daejeon Summer.

The five-piece band TXT sang songs like The Killa, Deja Vu, and I'll see you there tomorrow, and Stray Kids took the stage with their latest tracks like Chk Chk Boom, Hall of Fame, and popular hit Maniac.

Other acts like Jannabi, NCT 127, NCT WISH, ZEROBASEONE, CRAVITY, xikers, Lee Young-ji, Kiss Of Life, and many more showcased their dynamic performances during the music festival.

KCON LA: upcoming K-pop music festival

Concluding 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, K-pop groups will take the stage of the upcoming KCON LA festival. Artists like ENHYPEN, BOYNEXTDOOR, NCT 127, ZEROBASEONE, STAYC, TWS, NMIXX, god, BIBI, ME:I, P1Harmony, and more will perform at the three-day music festival in Los Angeles.

BIBI, Hyolyn, Zico, Isaac Hong, Jo Yuri, and SHINee’s Taemin will showcase solo acts. Notably, the girl group izna formed through the survival program I-land 2 will not be able to perform at KCON LA due to visa issues. KCON LA will take place from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28.
