On November 5, 2024, HYBE CEO, Lee Jae-sang, addressed the company's stance on NewJeans' future projects, stating that they would do their best in supporting the girl group. During the Q3 2024 announcement conference call, Lee Jae-sang discussed the recent achievements of the rookie girl group as well as the ongoing conflict between HYBE and Min Hee-jin.

The conference call transcript and the Q3 2024 Earning Report were posted on the official website of HYBE. Yonhap News reported that Lee Jae-sang mentioned the girl group's Tokyo Dome success during the conference call meeting and said,

"Hybe will continue to do its best to support NewJeans' continued growth. NewJeans, who entered Tokyo Dome in the shortest period of time as a non-J-pop artist with 'Bernie's Camp Tokyo Dome,' have had five consecutive million-seller albums with 'How Sweet,' which was released this year, and their Japanese debut album 'Supernatural' in June."

He continued:

"NewJeans did not have any major activities such as album releases or performances, but enjoyed steady popularity on music charts and in advertisements in the third quarter."

For the unversed, in April 2024, HYBE sued former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin for an alleged privacy breach and conspiring to take over ADOR and NewJeans. Being the parent company and owning 80% shares of ADOR, HYBE requested Min Hee-jin to step down from her CEO role. Since then both parties have been engaged in an ongoing legal case.

In August 2024, ADOR fired Min Hee-jin and appointed Kim Joo-young as the new CEO. The Attention girl group expressed their indignation over Min Hee-jin's dismissal and demanded her reinstatement, however, ADOR rejected their request.
