Stray Kids is gaining attention after JYP Entertainment reorganized its creative divisions. The company recently made changes to the teams responsible for planning and promoting its artists, as revealed during the Q3 Report meeting.
Large agencies like JYP divide their artists into different teams, each handling the planning and promotion for specific groups. JYP has several divisions, including Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, and Studio J.
With the recent change, these organizational divisions were given new names:
- Division 1 — ONE Label including Stray Kids and 2PM
- Division 2 — BLU:M including ITZY
- Division 3 — STRIDE including J.Y. Park and TWICE
- Division 4 — SQ4UD including NMIXX
- Studio J — DAY6 and Xdinary Heroes
- Beijing Shinsung (JV) Artist — BOY STORY
- Fanling Culture Artist — YAOCHEN
- JYP JAPAN Artists — NiziU and NEXZ
- JYP USA Artist — VCHA
Fans of Stray Kids and other Korean artists under JYP Entertainment have expressed disappointment over the agency's recent changes to its creative divisions. Following the announcement, many Stray Kids fans took to social media to share their opinions. While some criticized the agency, others reacted humorously to the renaming of divisions.
“There's really no creativity left in div1 coz girl wtf is one label.”- a fan said.
“Div1’s new name tells you everything you need to know about their creative team.”- a user added.
“Division ONE probably thought rebranding to ONE label was the most creative thing ever.”- a fan wrote.
Fans reacted hilariously to the new name of Division 1, ONE Label which includes Stray Kids.

Stray Kids’ latest Japanese album GIANT
On November 13, Stray Kids dropped their latest Japanese album GIANT along with the music video for the titular tune of the same name. The album includes ten tracks GIANT (title), Chk Chk Boom Japanese version NIGHT, Falling Up, WHY?, Saiyan, 愛をくれたのに、なぜ, Christmas Love, NIGHT English version, and Falling Up English version.
GIANT music video created a huge buzz online for its references to the popular Anime Attack of Titan. The eagle-eyed netizens and fans noticed the similarity between some scenes from Attack of Titan and the music video. The Stray Kids maknae I.N. also went viral for his part as it reminded fans of the Attack of Titan character Eren. Fans stated that I.N.’s resemblance with Eren was uncanny.
Currently, Stray Kids is on the Japan leg of the DominATE world tour, they will hold three shows at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on November 14, 16, and 17 respectively.
