According to Gold Derby, the K-pop star's album, which was released on November 3, 2023, stands a chance at securing an Album of the Year nomination. The publication currently ranks the odds for the album at 100/1, noting that although Jungkook has earned 5 Grammy nominations as a member of BTS, this could be his first recognition as a solo artist.

Fans took to social media platforms to express their enthusiasm and hope for the idol to secure these Grammy nominations, eagerly awaiting the official announcement. A user on X, @ly_bbm wrote:

BTS' Jungkook's GOLDEN anticipated to receive multiple nominations in the upcoming Grammy Awards

On October 22, The Hollywood Reporter added fuel to the speculation by including Jungkook in their 2024 Grammy ballot predictions, hinting at several possible nominations. These include Album of the Year for GOLDEN, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for Standing Next to You, and Best Pop Solo Performance for the same track.

It also includes Jungkook's Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for 3D, which features Jack Harlow. BTS' leader, RM, is also predicted to receive several Grammy nominations for his work on Right Place, Wrong Person.

According to predictions, the album could land nods for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album, while the track LOST! might be in the running for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video.
