BTS' Jungkook's first solo SEVEN set a new record for the biggest debut song of all time on the United World Chart. With 8.8 million points on the United World Chart, the BTS member's song recently exceeded the previous 8.3 million point mark of Hozkier's Take Me to Church. Jungkook’s SEVEN was dropped on July 14, 2023, and made in collaboration with the American artist, Latto.

On January 14, 2025, Star News reported that SEVEN received a Gold certification in Belgium. The singer sold nearly 20,000 copies of BTS' Jungkook’s first single. The singer became one of only two K-pop artists to receive a Gold certification in Belgium, alongside PSY.
After joining in December 2023, BTS' Jungkook is performing his obligatory military duties. He will potentially wrap up with his military service in June 2025.
