On Friday, January 3, the South Korean media outlet MTN News released an article revealing the reported employee benefits at HYBE Labels, the South Korean entertainment company. The article also stated that the benefits listed for the workers under the label, make HYBE one of the best workplaces in the industry.

Some of the reported benefits include flexible work hours, increased paid vacation days, 100% salary for up to six months of maternity leave, an average annual salary of 65 million Korean won, an in-house doctor's office, fitness center, cafe, restaurant, and more. Additionally, these benefits are also expected to improve in the coming year.

MTN News explained that if a meticulous internal reorganization is carried out by HYBE Labels, then the agency is expected to become more stable in 2025, thereby improving employee benefits. When this information landed on the internet, netizens were impressed with the benefits the agency offered.

Many also pointed out that the employment state in HYBE Labels looks a lot healthier than other renowned South Korean entertainment agencies. Here are a few reactions from netizens regarding the same:

"Not their staff having more salary than sm groups," an X user commented.
"This is why those who've spread hate about Hybe need to be brought to justice. People in that company (built by BTS' hard work) have worked to create a positive environment for artists & make it a place people want to work. The toxicity introduced by certain ppl needs to go," wrote a fan on X.
"Now that’s a company that cares about their employees, it’s commendable indeed," added another.
"I was wondering why their profit margin isn't as big as I would imagine. This now makes sense. Good for them," commented a netizen.

More fans and netizens commended HYBE Labels' work environment and its impressive benefits for employees.

"I need to apply there coz no wayy like that's Such a good working environment," an X user stated.
"I really like how Hybe takes care of their employees. Staff relies on idols just as much as idols rely on staff," added an X user.
"we knew that ever since hybe was created (esp earlier years) that the work benefits were already SO GOOD and unlike any other, most especially the good paid vacation days which was unheard of. that's why people will never convince me that they're the "worst"," commented another X user.
