"Now I am crying"- Fans react as BTS' Jungkook and Jimin's latest military photos & autographed albums for fellow soldier go viral online

On Wednesday, October 3, a few recent photos of BTS' Jimin and Jungkook at the military landed on the internet. The two members were seen posing in a group of comrades, and netizens believe that those are the K-pop idols' fellow squad members.

Given that fans and ARMYs rarely get to see pictures and updates of the BTS members during their military enlistment, fans were naturally elated by the surface of these latest military photos. However, that was not all the update that fans received from the two members amidst their ongoing military enlistment.

A soldier, recently discharged from military service, met with BTS' Jimin and Jungkook shared that he was a fan of the two K-pop idols. Therefore, when he requested that the two BTS members sign the items and merchandise, they agreed, and the same was posted on social media platforms.

Jimin signed the soldier's uniform with a short message and Jungkook signed his copy of Jungkook's Dreamer poster, GOLDEN album, SEVEN CD, and BTS' BE album. Here's what Jimin's message on the soldier's uniform read:

"I still can't believe you're getting discharged. Where are you going leaving me behind ㅠ.ㅠ Thank you for taking care of me and relying on me since the first time we met (I can't really see this part). I believe you will come to see me, hyung. You worked hard in the military, so let's only walk on a flowery path."

On the other hand, this was the message written by Jungkook on the soldier's copy of the SEVEN CD:

“You worked hard and take care of yourself! Be happy!!!”

Following this, fans couldn't help but go feral over the same. On one hand they expressed that they were happy to see new photos of BTS' Jimin and Jungkook while on the other hand, they were also elated to see that the two BTS members have been making good friendships and relationships during their enlistment.

All you need to know about BTS' Jimin and Jungkook's solo career and military enlistment

BTS' Jungkook, who stands as the dancer and vocalist of the K-pop boy group, debuted under BigHit Music in 2013 alongside his fellow BTS members. The idol has been a solid contributor to his boy group while also simultaneously creating a successful solo career on the side.

While he's released solo tracks on BTS albums like My Time, Euphoria, etc., he released his first solo track for 202 FESTA, Still With You. However, his official solo career kickstarted when he debuted with his first single in July 2023, Seven feat. Latto. This release was followed by another single, 3D feat. Jack Harlow, and then his first solo album release, GOLDEN, in November 2023.

Jimin, on the other hand, who stands as a dancer and vocalist of BTS, has also released several solo tracks on the group's album like Lie, Serendipity, Filter, etc. He has also released a few tracks on SoundCloud like Promise, Christmas Love, and more, before his official solo debut in March 2023, FACE.

He followed up his first album with a second album release, called MUSE, in July 2024. Regardless, both K-pop idols are currently serving their mandatory military enlistment. BTS' Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together through the Buddy System, which allows friends, family members, and close acquaintances to enlist and stick by each other throughout the service period for each other's support.


Therefore, the two BTS members will also be discharged on the same, which is expected to fall sometime in June 2025.
