With the much-anticipated release of Love in the Big City, Nam Yoon-su's DAZED KOREA pictures are catching fans's attention. Love in the Big City, an upcoming K-drama adapted from Park Sang Young's novel series, premiered on October 21 with episodes one and two on TVING.
The series will also be available via Viki, with two new episodes released every Monday. The drama features Nam Yoon-su, Lee Soo-kyung, Jin Ho-eun, Oh Hyun-kyung, Lee Se-hee, Kwon-hyuk, and Lee Hyun-so.
It centers around two roommates: Ko-yeong, a gay man, and Mi-ae, a straight woman. Through Mi-ae's perspective, we witness Ko Yeong’s journey through love, grappling with societal judgment, and his strained relationship with his mother. Ko-yeong eventually finds a unique and pure love with Gyu-ho but must let him go. Afterward, he travels to Thailand, spending a monsoon vacation and reflecting on his past.
DAZED KOREA recently released a few behind-the-scenes pictures of the Love in the Big City cast from their November issue. Nam Cheol-soo, writer Park Sang-young, and other cast members appeared in the short clip that DAZED KOREA posted on X. Fans quickly took to the comments section to praise the show's cast and their chemistry with each other.

Nam Yoon-su shares his experience on Love in the Big City
On October 16, the cast and crew of Love in the Big City held a press conference to discuss the upcoming drama. Present were writer Park Sang-young, directors Son Tae-gyum, Hur Jin-ho, Hong Ji-young, and Kim Se-in, alongside actors Nam Yoon-su, Kwon-hyuk, Oh Hyun-kyung, Na Hyun-woo, Jin Ho-eun, and Kim Won-joong.
Nam Yoon-su, who plays the gay character Ko-yeong, said that he felt no hesitation or pressure in taking up the role. He was drawn to the project because of the artistic value of the original novel and his confidence in the directors' unique styles. He noted that the directors' different filming techniques, tones, and lighting would influence each episode, leading to his character feeling distinct in each part of the story.
He also highlighted the supportive and relaxed atmosphere on set, comparing it to working with friends. He admired the directors' strong leadership, which made him feel like he was effortlessly carried along during filming. He reflected on the show's shifting tone, with the first two stories being light and fun, while the latter stories becoming more serious and intense.
Addressing potential negative reactions, Nam Yoon-su mentioned that he focused more on the support he received, saying that the numerous encouraging messages made him feel that societal perspectives are evolving. His trust in the project grew throughout the filming process, reinforcing his belief in the series.
