On December 10, American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth revealed that he wants to work with BLACKPINK's Rosé during his visit to Singapore as part of his tour titled Something New. When asked about artists he would like to collaborate with in the future, he mentioned the APT. duo, BLACKPINK's Rosé and Bruno Mars.

"I would love to collab with any artist big or small as long as they like making music, but I would say Rosé or Bruno Mars," Charlie Puth stated.

Previously, on October 18, Charlie Puth shared an Instagram story featuring BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ collaborative track APT. In his story, Charlie praised their song, calling it "amazing."

As a result, BLACKPINK's Rosé's fans were delighted when the Attention vocalist took the female idol's name. Consequently, her fans filled the internet with anticipation for their collaboration and praises for Rosé. Expressing this sentiment, one user on X commented:

Many other mixed reactions were recorded online. While some insisted that Charlie should work with Rosé, others referred to their collab as a “perfect combination.”
